L’Assassins Unveil T-Shirts Guaranteed To Make You Sexier
L’Assassins unveiled a new line of t-shirts this week. These tees will be available at their shows. I’m almost certain from their photos that if you buy one of their t-shirts and you will become instantly more attractive to the opposite sex, random strangers will buy you things and people will open doors for you.
Tomorrow L’Assassins will be playing at The Hexagon. Goddamn Gallows headlines with Ross Kleiner & The Thrill and The Violent Shifters opening.
The Rock & Roll Whores Announce Free Swag Contest
The Rock & Roll Whores announced a contest yesterday to win a copy of Sex-Drugs-And-Rock & Roll Whores and a ticket to their August 3rd Fine Line show. To participate be the first on their Facebook page to guess the number Johnny H-Core is thinking of. I’ll give you a hint, it’s not 69.
Concentual CD Release – Saturday
Concentual’s long awaited CD, File Under: Rock ‘N Roll will be released this Saturday at Bunkers. The Hard Luck and July Fighter are opening. When you go to the show, be sure to request obscure songs. According to Concentual’s blog, they love that.
“Musicians need to constantly broaden their musical horizons, and it’s your job to see that it happens….immediately.”
Free Downloads from Howth and Workerbee Records
Sianet radio loves Brooklyn band – Howth. Right now they are offering a free download of the three-track Secret Goldmine EP. Get it on Bandcamp and listen to it here on SiaNet Radio.
Then pop over to download Workerbee Records‘ 14-song compilation album, Now Here. It will prove once and for all that Iowa has produced more musicians than just House of Large Sizes.
