Two nights of THE SKULLCRANES? I mean, really? Yup.
They’re releasing their first CD with Crustacean Records out of Madison and I for one, hope to be sober enough to actually make to their set. Now, I’d be SUPER excited for the listening party if it weren’t for the fact I’ve been listening to this record just about every Tuesday and Thursday for the past month after band practice while playing 301 with Ponyboy. (I let him win sometimes. It makes him feel good)
So, I HAVE heard the album and approve. Officially, the suck factor is very low. Especially from a bunch of fuck-0ffs like these guys. There are suspicions that they didn’t even write the material. It’s that good. Hey who of us can’t relate to being down to our last 5 bucks, or making fun of Maplewood rockers? Bumming cigs and bitchin’ cars is what they’re all about. Beer and toothpaste………that’s all I’s gotsta say.

Mindless Banter from Juice #1

Welcome all of my faithful followers and my lovable stalkers. I am the first person to dive into the blogs section of this website and hopefully those other douche bags will follow suit. I really have nothing to say at the moment besides these few things.
-Yes, I moved back to Madison and the reason for that is personal. (Tophers ass stinks up the studio too much)
-I will continue on doing a few call in sessions for The Clubhouse Show. (Anything I can to to rip on Mae)
-OUR SHOWS ARE NOT WORK FRIENDLY SO DON’T EMAIL ME ABOUT IT. Why the hell do you think they would be?
-I am knocking off two bands from my must see list this summer. Huey Lewis and the News and Better Than Ezra. Say what you want but I dig them.
-May 23rd is the Sianetradio.com Brewers/Twins tailgate throw down. Brewers @ Twins 6:05 pitch. The Sianetradio.com party people will be sitting dead center field cheering on their prospective teams. Look for a sianetradio.com plug on the big screen as well. Pictures to follow.
-There is a huge rumor flying around town here….well our sianetradio.com studio and junk that there will be a reunion show of 3 of the most entertaining rock bands of the past. If I said I wasn’t the instigator of one of them getting back together I would be lying. Slighted, B!, and Lingo one night only….rumor has it.
-Last week Thursday was the Orange Blank CD release show. I was gone and moved already so I didn’t attend but it didn’t stop a shitload of people from calling and texting me all night telling me how awesome it was. Believe me I am sure it was I have seen Orange Blank probably more than anyone else. I do encourage everyone to go and buy a copy of the disc at one of their shows or on Itunes or amazon.com I have had it for a while now and it kicks ass. Plus the inside has a pretty damn sexy mural of pictures.
-My folks got me something pretty damn sweet. Since I am a huge fan of the TV show M*A*S*H* they got me an autographed picture of Corp. Max Klinger (Jamie Farr) I’ll post a picture up soon. It is hilarious.
