It was great meeting Toxsick. He’s an awesome dude and he, like the Rock & Roll Whores, lives his music. To me, that’s more impressive than anything. The authenticity of both bands really shows in their music. Love it, or hate it, you gotta respect their passion.

THE TANK!! You know him, you love him and we had him……and by that I mean physically. Outlaw Saint was our featured guests this week on the Clubhouse Show!!! As expected, they made great guests with some witty, humorous banter. It was a damn good time with some really cool cats. (meow) St. Mae and the Cabana Boy were off on some desert island and we assumed it has something to do with oils. Since they couldn’t make it, resident massage therapist Mags and Pres. Nicole Jean Rode of Rapedoor did an AWESOME job filling in. Thanks from me to everyone (that includes the beast of meat) for teaming up to produce yet another great episode. We did a little “Name That Tune” and got an exclusive live performance from the band. Grab yourself a drink of your choice, sit back and enjoy.

All this family wanted to do was plant their yard with food for their bellies, but oh no. According to city officials they are not allowed to have anything but a chemically treated lawn, free of anything edible of any kind. Out of College Park, GA. a couple is facing $500 daily fines for having a god-damn garden in their front yard. They should take a page out of the John Basso playbook and every time a city official pays a visit, douse the fuckers with a blast from a powerful hose. The city demands compliance to their shit-for-brains code and is threatening large fines if their drastic over-reach of power isn’t kowtowed to. “They will take our house before they take our Patriot Garden.” said the guy as he rode his horse up and down a brigade of painted, screaming Scottish warriors. He then brandished his iron and fought the cities hired goons to a bitter death and bled out into a bed of cherry tomatoes, a tragic end to a story that is only just so interesting.

Artists Forced to Sell Clothing?

As people become less willing to pay for music, are independent artists being forced into a new line of work? Could this be what musicians have been reduced to? Garment salesman?

In conjunction with The Supper Club Tour, Jeremy Messersmith is offering Adjustable Bow-Tie’s. These handmade adjustable bow-ties come in three different colors and are available for sale on his website.

The Twin Cities leg of The Supper Club Tour is on December 8th, but is currently sold out. However, Messersmith tweated on Monday:

Christo Peters, CEO and janitor of SiaNet Radio, stated that the renovations were necessary to continue producing the Clubhouse Show during extreme temperatures and soundproofing is necessary because his neighbors dog is annoying and he doesn’t want to hear it anymore. He also hopes the new space will accommodate more live DJs. DJs currently work from remote locations. Negotiations are underway with Awesome Cups to rent studio space in the new location as well. For those of you worried that Animal may lose his home on the turquoise toilet: never fear renovations will include a home for both of them.

Yes, most of our panelists are jet-setting around the world, or tending to injuries. But Aaron and The Meat Beast were joined by Kenny “Squeak” Hanzely. The hang overs were epic the next day, but the show itself actually came together with a decent amount of actual talk on hockey, with the occasional pause for goofbally hockey related topics. Also, I think we finally got Kenny used to not bringing up his fantasy team. Now with 50% more whiskey.

So if you listened to the new Monday Night Comedy Show podcast here on sianet radio, you found out that for their fourth aniversary they were going to have a HUMONGOUS awards cerimony. So the staff of the Monday Night Comedy Show have started a podcast. “What all are they doing,” you ask? Well really, the question should be “What won’t they be doing?” With these cats you never can tell. But I’d say it’s a safe bet to say it will be funny. Whether it’s a talk show, some radio theater, a musical episode, or a report from the front lines of the lsundry room, it is sure to be entertaining. The first episode is in the can, and I was there to help them along. An intimate evening with Andrew Danger Brynildson and Jason Krueger. Luckily, they invited me (the Meat Beast) along for their first foray into podcasty goodness. Now if only Topher had given me the right addresses and procedures for uploading it to the sight. Or at least answered his phone when I called. Regardless, it will be up shortly, with all it’s caffeinated goodness.

Side note, I think I found a way to upload it, but the quality has had to be dropped considerably.so click on the link, and hopefully soon we will have a better quality version of the show up, that doesn’t sound so low res.

This was our very first live broadcast! Featuring local stand-up comedian Bill Young and the band In The Morning. This was a great show! We want to thank everyone for coming out. It was certainly a great time to be had! Sure, sure there are a few glitches, but what do you expect from the clubhouse?? Part 2 will be posted in this page tomorrow.

Please come and check out the next show live on our stream Tuesday, October 12 from 11pm-midnight. The stream does not appear to work with windows media player for some reason. We’re working on it now. In the meantime iTunes, and winamp appear to work. The live stream itself will be inconsistent as we get the new location and new machine up and running correctly.

In the Morning hit the Minneapolis rock scene in 2004, and with the release of their first full length album “Charades” in early 2006, they quickly gained a reputation as one of the premier acts in the Twin Cities. Their emotional hard-hitting sound has captivated both audiences and critics alike. The band has seen it’s share of rhythm sections, but with the addition of Hans Martenson (bass) in 2006 and Leigh Underwood (drums) in late 2009, it’s safe to say the band is right where it wants to be. In The Morning’s second full length album, “Why are we Driving to Iowa?”, is slated for release on October 9th and the band will be holding a CD release show at Ogara’s Bar in St Paul.

celebration of excess and we are keen in the art of finding a ride home. We also
bring the party.

7. If you could play a show with anyone artist or group who would it be and
why? Refused, it would force us to play better in an attempt not to be too upstaged.

8. Have you heard of Sianetradio.com before?…..are you listening now? Yes we have,
we are actually in a practice space with no Internet capabilities.

9. If you could talk to anyone artists in music that is dead or alive who
would it be and why? Dave Grohl, this man has done it all. A great influence on a
lot of kids.

10. Who would win in a fight Henry Rollins or Glenn Danzig? There is way more hate
and fear in the heart of Glenn Danzig. Rollins can bee too much of a pacifist at
times.

11. What is the easiest way people can check out your band? The Internet is the
easiest way to check out any band. Right now, we only have a Torch The Spires Myspace

12. Your favorite song to play live? “Lost Limbs Wont Grow Back” This is our
closer. This song builds perfectly to the level of insanity.

13. With the current smoking ban in place have you seen a difference in
crowd size? Alot of people go out and smoke during sets, this definitely hinders
the crowds. Go outside the next time you’re watching a band and see how many people
would otherwise be inside doing the same shit.

14. What was the one show you played that stuck out more than the rest and
why? The All The Way Rider CD Release show at the Triple Rock. We were pretty
unknown (2nd show I believe) at the time and were overwhelmed by how many people
were in the crowd and how much the got into us.

15. Any other local artists that we should listen to because you said so? 20$ Love,
Buildings, Blue Ox, All The Way Rider, TONNAGE.

16. Anything you want to plug at our expense? We got a new album in the final
mastering stages called “Another Ghost To Haunt the House” Be on the look out
kids. We’re also looking to get the ol’ Torchthespires.com up and running. Stay
